Handmade in Morocco, this stunning 'Tcherot' necklace is reminiscent of the engraved designs of the nomadic Tuareg tribes of northern Africa.

'Tcherot' in the Tuareg language translates as ‘message’. These pendants traditionally enclosed slips of paper with verses from the Quran and were thought to bring good fortune to the wearer.

Size: Mixed metal pendant approximately 45mm round (1.8in), paired with matt Japanese Toho beads, approximately 43cm (17in) in length
