Handmade in Morocco, this stunning 'Tcherot' necklace is reminiscent of the engraved designs of the nomadic Tuareg tribes of northern Africa.
'Tcherot' in the Tuareg language translates as ‘message’. These pendants traditionally enclosed slips of paper with verses from the Quran and were thought to bring good fortune to the wearer.
Size: Mixed metal and glass cabochon pendant approximately 55mm square (2in), paired with matt Japanese Toho beads, approximately 43cm (17in) in length
